Olney WTP Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation of the Olney Water Treatment Plant in Olney, Texas utilizing a TWDB Water Fund loan.
This project included major improvements and rehabilitation to the Olney Water Treatment Plant. CPB provided professional engineering services including replacing filter underdrains and media, repiping filter pipe gallery and providing for filter-to-waste, replacing aging pumps with new backwash pump and high service pump station, rehabilitating backwash storage facilities, replacing electrical and control systems, and repairing damaged and leaking concrete structures. The total construction cost for the project was approximately $1.04 million.
