Project Scope:
The City of Holliday tasked us with providing preliminary and design engineering services for two consecutive years of CDBG grant projects. The first CDBG grant was split into two concurrently bid and constructed packages. One for the replacement of 750 LF of 8” and 10” Sewer mains up to 22’ in depth, and one for the complete replacement 3,750 LF of Asphalt street with new 2” HMAC including new concrete valley gutters for drainage. The Lift Station Rehabilitation project commenced once the Street and Sewer CDBG projects were completed. The project consisted of the rehabilitation of two separate duplex sewer lift station sites. Both sites received brand new pumps, SCADA-ready controls, all new guide rails, and complete recoating with a high-build epoxy protective coating. The oldest of the two lift stations was completely rebuilt within tight site constraints amd received a brand new concrete top, lids, a conversion of an old collection tank into a manhole, and the installation of a new concrete valve vault. Plans and specifications were prepared by the CPB team and put out for bid. CPB provided the City of Holliday with TCEQ-approved civil plans and specifications, project management, bidding services, construction phase services, coordination between grant specialists, and project close-out services. The Sewer Rehabilitation project was completed in mid 2022, The Street replacement project was completed in late 2022, and the Lift Station Rehabilitation project was completed in early 2024.
